What is the book about?

Have you ever set out to accomplish a major goal such as becoming an award-winning

actress, getting signed by a record company, publishing a book, or completing your

PhD but were met with obstacles at every turn? Has it ever seemed like the moment

you set out to complete a goal was the moment when previously unseen barriers

arose to block your path? That happens to all of us, but when that happens to you,

there is a way to press forward into the future you envision.

This book is about being bold enough to recognize the barriers but still daring

to move forward to accomplish your goals. It’s about being fierce, persistent,

and passionate enough to break through every obstacle and reach your desired

destination. It’s a book that invites you to take a journey—a transformational

journey—and encourages you that no matter where you are now, it’s not where you

have to always be. It’s a book that will challenge you to your core to

be bold, be fierce,be transformed!

God, Books and Beauty

To all of you out there that read my blogs. Thank you.  You are the reason I continue to write.

At the age of 27 I have learn the most important aspect of my life is my relationship with Jesus. He is my everything.  I am always seeking out ways to please him more. I never feel like I have it together and I always want to improve.   I want to learn more about Him through His word and draw near to Him through prayer.

I never knew in a million years that I would be a writer/blogger/author, but when I reflect it makes sense.  This is my purpose.  Since the age of 6, I had a journal and have faithfully written in it on a consistent bases.  I read so many novels/books as a child that for every time we moved, I would have to leave or throw some away.  As I progressed through school, this gift was never maintained and my focus was on what everyone else thought I should be to make me "successful".  It wasn't until at the age of 25 that I started writing again. One thing you can be sure of, is that whatever your purpose in life is, it will never leave you and you will always have a desire to do it.

Let's be honest for a moment.  I really don't consider myself a "fashionista", but I LOVE fashion and beauty.  I think I am learning to find styles that fit the look I am going for and I am always ready to try something new.  My risk level in fashion is about mid-level. Somethings that I see people wearing, I would NEVER wear, so I'll tone it down and make it my own.

So, there is it. Three words that I would say, sum me up.  Although the complexity of who I am grows farther than three words, I think the bulk of my personhood can be found in some way, shape of form in God, Books, or Beauty.

Your turn? What three words would you use if you had to describe yourself.
