Just Dance....

The eyes stare as they are confused in what looks to be wrong but is so right.  Each week brings more comfort as the time brings together strangers that do not know what the other is capable of being or becoming.  The thought to quit takes a moments rest in the mind of one of the students as she knows that she has a long road ahead to feel welcomed as her perfection ways keep her outside the home of security like a lost soul.

Although the instructor dances on the upbeat, she is still a dancer. Although she has a long way to go, she is still a dancer.  Although she is larger than the average dancer, she is still a dancer.  Although the bases of the dance class has a African twist to it, her focus has to remain on what he she has been called to do; dance for Jesus.  She knows and believes that she is re-learning the language of her passion to effectively communicate this when the time is right.

Her goal is set above in the heavens at the heart of Jesus.  She must remember to not focus on the flaws but to perfect her craft and just dance. To fall into the passion of the song as she feel it moving her soul, she must dance. To not over think the technique but perfect it each week, she must dance.  She must remove all the negative thoughts that she has about herself and remember in the purest element of the moment to just dance!

  1. "Dance for Jesus" -- just always remember what you said every time you feel unsure of yourself. :-)

  2. Allow your dance (as I am sure you do) to be the extreme physical expression, in bodily form, of your love and gift to God. It is a beautiful gift from Heaven that He delights in. (one day I will reveal what He has given me; after He reveals it to me.)
